Laborer SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer that will be responsible for assisting Laborers and Laborer Journeyman with material handling, assembling and dismantling of equipment, preparing work areas, and cleaning of machines and workspaces. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Load and unload equipment - Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by other crafts - Clean work area, machines, and equipment - Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging - Level ground for scaffolding - Tend motor and grout: lift, unload, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets - General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and loading or burning of debris - Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete - Vibrate concrete - Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels - All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - Experience in construction preferred - Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and ja...
