Job description

The Accountant, Treasury Operations is primarily responsible for day-to-day activities relating to premium billing operations, participate in the support of our internal customers in Customer Solutions with payment corrections and pay plan updates, general ledger journal entries, suspense and bank account reconciliations and involvement in daily claim recovery deposit process. The candidate will also be tasked with partnering with the Treasury Manager to lead business transformation and change management initiatives within the Treasury unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works independently with judgment to communicate up when appropriate - Build a solid understanding of how each billing transaction affects general ledger, bad debt and our internal and external customers. - Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. - Process daily refund and loss payments from Workday. - Handle various policy adjustment/payment research requests - Participate in the premium suspense reconciliation process.
