Description: Overview As an CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the estimation of bids by creating accurate and detailed construction drawings and models. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting will contribute significantly to the successful preparation of bids and enhance the overall efficiency of our construction projects. CAD Drafting and Design: Drawing Revisions and Updates: Drawing Coordination: Quality Assurance: Documentation Management: Technical Support: - Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create precise and detailed construction drawings, plans, and models. - Develop 2D and 3D drawings that accurately reflect project requirements, specifications, and design intent. - Collaborate closely with the Sales and Estimating team to understand project scope and requirements. - Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material lists based on the construction drawings. - Review and revise drawings based on internal and external feedback and markups. - Ensure that all drawings are up-to-date with the latest changes and revisions. - Coordinate with the Estimator to incorporate changes into the cost estimation process. - Work with other inter...
