Job Overview: Job Summary: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in Military Working Dog kennels to ensure a healthy environment for the dogs and support mission readiness. This role involves regular sanitization, equipment checks, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. - Location: Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland and Chapman Annex, Texas - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with potential for adjustments within a 40-hour work week. Qualifications: - Conduct weekly sanitization of 26 kennel facilities using veterinary-approved methods. - Ensure all equipment is checked for safety, including securing fittings and checking for leaks. - Use provided cleaning solutions (soap, bleach, disinfectants) to clean kennels, removing all waste and sanitizing surfaces. - Manage waste disposal correctly, ensuring no environmental contamination. - Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear. - Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license. - Must be able to pass a background check. - Must pass Canine Handling and Kennel Sanitization Course (Company paid training, 5 days) - Ability to follow detailed cleaning and safety proc...
