Data Engineer (AI & Automation)

Job description

We are scaling our AI and automation capability at Bank ABC in London and are looking for a Data Engineer to build the data foundations that power automation, analytics and AI-driven solutions across the bank. This is a hands-on role delivering real impact, working across business and technology teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable and ready for AI and automation use cases. What You Will Be Doing: Design, build and maintain data pipelines connecting core banking systems and enterprise platforms Prepare and transform data for analytics, dashboards and AI-driven workflows Implement strong data quality, governance and security controls Partner with Developers, SMEs and central IT/Data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions What You Will Bring: 3+ years’ experience in data engineering / BI / data-focused roles ideally within Financial Services Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python and building ETL/ELT pipelines Experience integrating data from databases, APIs and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure/AWS) A practical, delivery-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills Why Join Us?: Bank ABC in the UK is a growing international bank, investing in AI, automation and...
