Position Summary The Department of Emergency Medicine, Innovative Practice maintains a 24/7/365 telemedicine and communications center. The purpose of this center is to coordinate and document care via telemedicine and facilitate the concierge and event medicine practice. Most calls are inbound from ships, aircraft, and remote sites/bases around the globe. In addition, the communications center serves as a single point of contact for our event and concierge medical practices. We are currently seeking an Operations Specialist-EMT for all shifts. Night shift receives a differential on top of advertised pay band. The primary purpose of this position is to staff the communications center, however, this position can also be used to staff events for medical standby coverage. As an Operations Specialist-EMT you will need to: - Facilitate telemedical interactions between patients/clients and medical providers - Document and accurately scribe medical communications - Follow up with patients/clients as needed - Work toward solutions to client issues in a timely and appropriate manner - Prioritize job duties while utilizing excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. - Be a nat...
