About Democratic National Committee We’re hiring! Are you fired up to elect Democrats up and down the ticket? Position Summary: The Deputy States Communications Director works hand-in-hand with the Deputy Communications Director for States to manage the everyday work of the States Communications Team, including working directly with Democratic state parties and driving regional and local media coverage. This position reports to the Deputy Communications Director for States. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Travel : The Deputy State Communications Director position will require travel, which could be up to 30% of the time. Salary : The starting salary for the Deputy State Communications Director position is $90,000.00, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends. Due to federal campaign finance rules, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible for this role.
