This position is a 12-month, tenured appointment in which tenure on arrival will be granted pending approval from the Texas A&M University System. The Division Chair serves as both an academic administrator and faculty member, providing leadership and management to the division consistent with the university’s mission and goals. Chairs maintain an active teaching, research, and service role at a level appropriate to the scope of the position.
