POSITION: General Labourer Timber-Tech is looking for skilled Labourers to join their team in Lethbridge. This is a full-time position, typically hours of work are 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. The starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 depending on experience levels. A full benefits package is available following a successful probation period. The Labourers perform one or more repetitive jobs on the assembly and pressing line to produce trusses. RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in Quality Control and Health & Safety Program. Work safely and keep the work area clean. Report any unsafe or hazardous condition or situation. Build trusses that meet the expected quality. Follow the company Health and Safety and Quality policies, processes, procedures and instructions. Interpret shop drawings for overall truss dimensions as well as joint & plate placement. Participate in setting or jigging trusses. Move material to assembly-production area. Insert and clamp chords and webs to tables. Assure that all joints are tight.
