Job Description Hours: Full-Time Position – 35 Hours Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101 Only candidates who are permanent in the Construction Project Manager title or reachable on the Open-Competitive Exam #3042 or #5058 may apply. Please include a copy of your Notice of Results, Proof of Filing, or indicate if you are permanent in the title. If you do not meet the previously mentioned civil service criteria, you will not be considered for an interview. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of ADA Compliance within the NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Division of Public Buildings, the selected Project Manager will assist with interpreting and applying the 2010 ADA Standards, Chapter 11 of the NYC Building Code, as well as other applicable federal, state, and local statutes and regulations that pertain to accessibility. This position will work closely with Public Buildings Advanced Capital Planning Unit, to assist with the portfolio planning process through well-developed investigation and review of client needs and existing conditions, resulting in the creation of Advanced Capital Planning Assessments.
