Min USD $15.75/Hr. Max: USD $22.52/Hr. Overview: The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning, sanitation, and supply restocking within assigned areas throughout Decatur Memorial Hospital and its affiliated properties. All duties are completed in accordance with established Environmental Services and Infection Prevention & Control procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Schedule: - 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Alternating schedule: - 3 shifts (11.5 hours each) one week - 4 shifts (11.5 hours each) the following week - 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM - One 6-hour shift scheduled per pay period Weekend Rotation: - Includes one 12-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday per pay period Employment Type: - Full-Time Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to lift objects and climb ladders as needed Capable of performing tasks requiring moderate physical effort Responsibilities: Demonstrate understanding of soil types (soluble vs. insoluble) and proper cleaning methods to ensure effective sanitation.
