POS-8085 About the Team: HubSpot’s Segments Group powers the Lists and Scoring experience across our CRM platform. The team builds and operates the systems that enable customers to create, manage, and use dynamic segments of their data at massive scale — forming the backbone of HubSpot’s personalization and automation capabilities. This is one of HubSpot’s most technically challenging and high-impact areas. The team’s mission is to make “real-time” truly real, transforming list creation from minutes to seconds while supporting tens of millions of customer segments. Engineers here work on large-scale distributed systems that process huge volumes of data with low latency and high reliability. About the Role: As a Staff Technical Lead, you will be a player-coach, leading a team of approximately 2-4 backend engineers while remaining deeply hands-on in technical design and implementation. This role blends hands-on engineering (~75%) with technical leadership and influence (~25%).
