Organization: SSMC-Sutter Solano Medical Center Position Overview: Influences the design, implementation, and maintenance of Sutter Health's clinical information systems and associated applications. Integrates nursing science, computer technology, and information management to configure and communicate data, information, knowledge, and insights used to facilitate and support informed decisions. Incorporates components of clinical practice, affiliate workflows and regulatory requirements to ensure a cohesive clinical information system that reflects the total patient care experience. Provides functional and technical leadership, as well as daily operational support of information systems and patient care technology of the Nursing Department. Partners with other clinical departments, medical staff committees, Information Systems (IS) organizations, Nursing Leadership, and selected technology companies to evolve and optimize Sutter Health's clinical information systems and associated applications while enhancing the quality and continuity of patient care.
