Grinder Operator -2nd shift

Job description

Tri-Seal (A Tekni-Plex Company) in Blauvelt, NY is searching for a Grinder for its 2nd shift (4:00 pm – 12:30 am). This position is responsible for grinding plastic materials which will be used on production lines using established standards and practices. What will you do?: - Starts and operates the grinder machine - Collects materials to be ground at each production line - Keeps the working area clean and neat - Replaces operators when needed - Fills out reports related to grinding operation - Keeps a record of pounds ground for each production line - Set up and calibrate production equipment to meet specification of production order - Inspects product for conformance to specifications, visually or using gauges or templates, and adjusts machine to correct errors. - Removes scrap plastic and rubber to proper locations - Completes daily paperwork, neatly and accurately - Maintains all equipment and advises the Manager of repairs when necessary - Coordinates shift activities with those of other shifts to insure proper flow of information - Operate a production station as assigned by Production manager - Following standard methods and techniques, processes materials to ensure it meet...
