WAGE: $15.68: DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation: PERSONNEL STATUS: Seasonal: BENEFITS: None: IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is a seasonal position. Seasonal positions work up to 40 hours per week for up to 6 months, no benefits. JOB OVERVIEW: Under the general supervision of the Building Service Worker, responsible for care and maintenance of landscaping throughout the grounds. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate mowers, weed eaters, trucks, tractors and other equipment. Use hand tools and some small power tools. Fix sprinklers and water pipes. Weed and maintain flowerbeds. Performs a variety of general custodial functions such as emptying trash, picking up litter, cleaning windows, sweeping and cleaning restrooms and other areas. Performs other duties in connections with the operation of the facility. Other duties as assigned.
