A Storage Engineer supporting an Epic infrastructure build, migration, and managed services plays a vital role in ensuring that Epic’s storage architecture meets the strict performance, reliability, and compliance standards required by Epic Systems Design and Provisioning of Epic-Compliant Storage Architecture: - Design and configure storage systems (SAN/NAS) to meet Epic’s System Requirements and specific performance benchmarks (e.g., IOPS, latency). Provision storage for Epic components such as: - Chronicles (operational database), Clarity/Caboodle (reporting and analytics), Interconnect, Web Blob, Hyperspace, and other app-tier components. - Ensure proper RAID levels, thin provisioning, deduplication, and tiering strategies based on workload needs.
