What began with a single clamshell dredge and a horse and wagon has evolved into a large-scale production and trucking business with several plants in the Omaha metro area along Nebraska’s Platte River. Position Overview: The Aggregate Truck Driver is responsible for the transportation of aggregates from rock quarries and gravel pits to various locations and customer job sites. This position will primarily be driving a Dump Truck and Pup Trailer but may occasionally drive other types of commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) - Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures as well as in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, MSHA, etc. - Must be able to safely operate truck and trailer combination (Pup and Truck). - Operate tarp mechanism to cover and uncover box on truck and on trailer before and/or after each load. - Comply with all Department of Transportation requirements including but not limited to...
