Routing Technician

Job description

Summary Router Technicians at Columbia Distributing are tasked with the planning and execution of daily delivery routes by using our routing software, currently RoadNet . They continually maintain the information of our customers and territories as well as ensure efficient delivery routes are created and sent to our warehouses daily. Primary Responsibilities: - Execute optimized plans that deliver the most cost-effective Delivery, Sales, and Merchandising routes in accordance with daily business needs. - Maintain routes; work with sales, customer service, delivery, and warehouse departments to adjust and improve the efficiency of delivery routes. - Communicate to the warehouse and delivery team the next days' schedule. - Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and other teammates. - Actively Participate in branch meetings, assist in presenting supported initiatives, and assist in reporting progress to branch Leaders - Always demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values - Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.
