Position Summary The team at Smithtown are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Operational Buyer. To execute the activities, procedures, reporting and communications with respect to purchasing of raw and/or packaging materials as well as other sundry items to support the factory manufacturing plan. These activities are carried out to ensure compliance with Nestle policies and procedures for governance and corporate business principles. . A day in the life: - Safety , Health and Environment – Assist in Safety, health & environmental standards and to carry out duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Safety health & environmental Policies and Procedures relating to Warehouse and Shipping. - Customer Service – Management of vendors, holding them to account on Delivery In Full On Time via regular reviews as per set standards. - Quality- Management of quality incidents via QP system within designated area as participation in internal audit program. Ensuring system health is maintained by performing regular master data health checks and adhering to BCP requirements. Management of RFA and RSPO portals and documentation. - Procurement - M...
