Job description

Mission Brief As a (Senior) Avionics Test Engineer within the Test Operations Germany Team, you will support the development, qualification and acceptance testing of avionics units and subsystems for our launch vehicle. You will work at the interface between environmental testing and avionics functional testing, ensuring that dedicated electrical test rigs operate reliably during demanding test campaigns. You will be working closely with avionics hardware owners, environmental test engineers and test operators, helping to identify failure modes, improve test setups and ensure high-quality test execution and reporting. Your Role in Our Space Mission: - Plan, prepare and execute functional testing of avionics hardware during thermal, thermal-vacuum and vibration test campaigns. - Develop, commission, maintain and improve electrical test rigs according to test requirements and changing hardware needs - Troubleshoot and debug electrical cabinets, harnesses, instrumentation, interfaces and unit-to-rig interactions. - Create and improve test procedures, automated sequences and reporting standards in alignment with system and unit owners. - Post-process and evaluate test data, document an...
