Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Engineer (Aeromechanics Specialist) – LibertyWorks Working Pattern: Hybrid/Onsite in office 3 days/week Working location: Indianapolis, IN: A new opportunity has arisen for an Aeromechanics Specialist to join LibertyWorks supporting our broad portfolio of defense programs. In this role, you’ll support the evaluation of various turbomachinery subsystems, including fan, compressor, and/or turbine gas paths, by assessing fluid-structure interaction and the subsequent vibration of airfoils and other components. Evaluations will be performed both computationally and experimentally for preliminary design, engine certification, optimization, cost reductions, and failure investigations across a wide range of applications. As a specialist in this field, you will have the opportunity to bring forward innovative analytical solutions for customers on new/fielded products to resolve important issues related to high cycle fatigue, flutter, damping and mistuning.
