FMS Mission Planning Systems Engineer, Lead The Opportunity: Serve as the Lead FMS Systems Engineer supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Mission Planning programs within the Airspace Mission Planning (AMP) enterprise. Lead the identification, decomposition, and validation of technical requirements needed to adapt U.S. Mission Planning System (MPS) capabilities into releasable, country‑unique Mission Planning Environments (MPEs) while ensuring protection of Critical Program Information (CPI), compliance with ITAR, and adherence to all foreign‑releasability constraints. Provide systems engineering leadership across the full lifecycle of FMS mission‑planning capabilities, including architecture tailoring, integration analysis, validation, technical evaluation, and configuration alignment. Support the Government in developing Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), performing Component Replacement Evaluations (CREs), reviewing Engineering Releases (ERs), and evaluating capabilities where no prior U.S. technical baseline exists.
