AVTECH Global is looking for an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer in Bridgewater, VA. Position Purpose: Responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet organizational and customer requirements. Involves creating detailed designs and technical drawings, performing analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure functionality, reliability, and manufacturability. Supports product development from concept through production, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations while driving innovation and continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities: - Prepare engineering data in accordance to customer specifications and aircraft Structural Inspection and Repair Manual (SIRM) - Adhere to FAA, customer, and company regulations in project design - Coordinate with other engineers, managers, Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and clients to insure timely project completion - Design structural modifications and repairs for aircraft to meet customer requirements - Perform engineering design evaluations - Conduct analysis from conceptual through design of aircraft st...
