Job DetailsJob Location: Lebanon, OH 45036Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $12.00 - $13.25 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the guidance of the Swim Lesson Director, the Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for the direct supervision, control and safety of members and participants during Swim Lessons. The YSL Instructor will communicate effectively and provide leadership in instructional areas of aquatic programs according to the YMCA aquatic policy while maintaining a safe environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly. Builds effective, authentic relationships with students and parents; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA. Encourages parent involvement and identifies potential volunteers. Maintains records as required (i.e. attendance, progress reports, etc.). Attends all necessary training when scheduled.
