Job DetailsJob Location: 415 Columbia Rd - Dorchester, MA 02125Salary Range: $19.00 - $26.00The Pharmacy Technician supports the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The technician assists with prescription preparation, patient communication, inventory management, and workflow coordination to ensure high-quality pharmacy services that promote health equity and improve patient outcomes across Upham’s Community Care. Pay Range: The expected base pay for the position is $19-$26 per hour and may be increased based on other factors, such as language, certifications, etc. Essential Duties: Assist pharmacists in processing, filling, and labeling prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and sometimes mix medications under direct supervision. Input and maintain prescription and patient data in the Liberty pharmacy software and electronic health record (EPIC). Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives to resolve medication-related issues.
