Job description

Position Purpose: Perform shipping/receiving responsibilities of Lower Bay. Support the timely and accurate processing of all documents. Interface with internal and external personnel to address and resolve issues associated with the transportation of products. Perform a wide variety of related functions as directed by the Lower Bay Prototype Manager. Essential Functions: - Perform receiving functions - Label & put away received parts in the warehouse - Process all shipping & receiving documents (i.e. Bill of Lading, export declarations, packing slips, receiving forms, etc.) in a manner consistent with accounting guidelines - Manage inbound UPS shipments and maintain package receiving area(s) - Package UPS orders - Deliver UPS inbound packages to Hendrickson employees - Perform shipping functions - Schedule, load, & unload trucks - Work with other plants to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner - Maintain R&D shipping process (ISO controlled document) - Negotiate freight rates, modes of transportation, claims, freight pick-ups, etc. - Palletize freight – requires tow motor & high-lift operation certification - Facilitate small shipment packaging - Audit freight shipments t...
