Job description

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience performing or inspecting contractual services. Must be able to communicate effectively. Working knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to prepare reports required. INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities in job-related areas. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interview and/or competency assessments. SUMMARY: The Contract Services Inspector is responsible for inspecting work completed by outside contractors performing work such as trash and/or tree removal, landscape maintenance, facility upkeep and cleaning, etc. to ensure compliance with contract specifications and MARTA standards of performance. Position is currently assigned to two MARTA Offices.
