Our office, Triangle Implant Center - Mebane in Mebane, NC is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. This role is essential in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while maintaining compliance with billing and insurance regulations. Job Summary: As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing insurance claims and ensuring accurate, timely processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance policies, including Medicaid and NC Tracks, while also providing excellent support to patients and our clinical/administrative teams. Your Responsibilities: - Verify patients’ dental insurance coverage and benefits - Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments - Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs - Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail - Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials - Manage insurance claims efficiently, ensuring timely submission and follow-up - Communicate with healthca...
