Description Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Echocardiography. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants who are mid-career are encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic lectures to fellows, residents, medical students and nursing staff on topics in general cardiology. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology have a large fellowship program with active involvement of trainees within the pediatric echocardiography lab. Excellence in teaching is also required, including curriculum development, innovative teaching materials, and mentoring of junior faculty is also expected.
