MO-SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital Worker Type: Regular Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with standard procedures, performs a full range of pharmacy technician duties, including transcription, preparation of non-sterile and sterile medications, dispensing, delivery, use of automation systems, auditing, and maintenance of documentation and records. This position serves as a departmental resource, addressing complex issues and providing training and guidance to technicians and students. This role may support and help coordinate daily pharmacy operations. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Assists in the preparation of medication orders that may include transcription, workflow management, automation utilization, and medication readiness for checking, dispensing, and delivery. Completes complex non-sterile and/or sterile compounding of medications. Solves issues with medication preparation including those with automation and compounding.
