At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. ​ Job Overview: This position will report into the Metals Strategic Sourcing Manager and will be the North American analyst for Ferrous Strip, Rod/Bar, wire. Commodity responsibility will include the sourcing for new products and the management of existing spend. This role also requires engagement with both the engineering and development communities to assure the correct sourcing decision from our products’ inception. Key performance indicators for this position will target cost improvement, quality control, vendor on-time delivery performance, utilization of elite/strategic and LCC suppliers, as well as other procurement & industry specified expectations and KPI’s. Position participates in core team meetings, assists in contract negotiations for raw materials, assists the Strategic Sourcing Manager in establishing sourcing strategy, monitors tactical procurement activities within the BU’s, and manages integrated suppliers tactical procurement in TE’s buying systems.
