Wholesale Non-QM Underwriter Position Overview : The Wholesale Non-QM Underwriter reviews and underwrites Non-QM mortgage loan applications and property appraisals and evaluates the loans to minimize risk or loss within regulatory guidelines. Ideal candidates for this position will be experienced underwriting Non-QM loans, highly detail-oriented, and familiar with loan program guidelines. Essential Functions of the Role : - Analyze and underwrite Non-QM mortgage loans within compliance guidelines and approved seller variances. - Manage loan conditions and provide recommendations for underwriting waiver and eligibility exceptions. - Communicate with loan originators and processors regarding loan status, approvals, suspensions, denials, and conditions. - Maintain a pipeline of loans adhering to posted service level agreements. - Remain current on loan program requirements and review documents for compliance. - Other duties as assigned.
