Position: Maintenance Technician I: Location: Christ Medical Center; Oak Lawn, IL. Full Time; 1st Shift: Major Responsibilities: - Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Documents through use of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). - Basic level of skill to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, heat exchangers, controls, etc. within defined operating procedures and with guidance/assistance. - Basic level of skill to maintain, troubleshoot and repair patient care equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables, etc. where not maintained by other departments - Basic level of skill to maintains, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems such as pneumatic tube, HVAC, refrigerators/freezers, ice machines, commercial kitchen equipment, electrical, plumbing, piped medical gas systems, specia...
