Quality Technician - 3rd Shift

Job description

The position of Quality Technician will be reporting to the local Quality manager Key Responsibilities and Duties: - Auditing and Inspection - Conduct hourly quality checks on all operating lines (every hour on the half-hour). - Complete the Last Piece Quality Assurance (QA) check for the auditing shift. - Evaluate and audit the hourly bag samples and inspection sheets completed by Production Operators as part of the layered audit process. - Audit and verify label placement according to FabCards and approved proofs. - Inspect all raw materials—including roll stock, poly, labels, boxes, and trays—upon receipt, comparing them to the vend or part FabCard. - Conduct a final quality check for product adherence when a machine operation is placed into downtime. - Quality Control and Compliance - Verify product compliance across multiple quality metrics, including: - Material: Visually check that the paper material matches the requirements on the FabCard/Bill of Materials (BOM) and inspect for visual damage to raw materials. - Printing: Validate ink printing for correct color, placement, and clarity by comparing the sample to the FabCard, and ensure all required columns and QR codes are pr...
