Summary: The Community Engagement Coordinator coordinates the City’s efforts to build meaningful relationships with residents, businesses, and community organizations. This position develops, plans, and implements engagement programs that strengthen public participation, increase transparency, and create opportunities for dialogue between the City and the community. This position requires a highly organized professional who can independently manage projects, facilitate conversations, and represent the City in a variety of public settings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Implements citywide community engagement initiatives that encourage resident participation and strengthen trust in local government - Leads programs designed to educate and connect residents with City services, such as a Resident’s Academy, Community Summit, Youth Advisory Commission, and other public engagement events - Identifies new opportunities to expand engagement efforts and increase participation among diverse populations. - Coordinates engagement efforts related to major City initiatives, projects, and priorities - Plans, organizes, and manages Ci...
