JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Lean and Continuous Improvement will own the implementation and management of the Orion Operating System at Rocky Mountain Steel Mills. This individual will oversee and drive all continuous improvement activities within the organization. This individual will lead a small group of individuals in developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the organization understands the Purpose of the program, and rolling out and owning the Principles, Process, Tools, Metrics, and Cadence comprised by the program. This person will be responsible for coaching all levels of the organization on problem solving and the components of the program.
