Work closely with Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams to understand material requirements, and lead times. Qualifications: - Manage all purchasing requirements and exception messages driven by ERP. - Lead “Make vs. Buy” analyses in collaboration with manufacturing & engineering. - Negotiate and administer Long Term Agreements (LTA’s) working close with central commodity team. - Driving Purchase Price Variance (PPV), cost avoidance and cost savings initiatives. - Request quotes from suppliers (cost and lead time) based on supplier capabilities and inclusion on Approved Vendor List. - Obtain Quality approvals for specific part/operation/process prior to transmitting purchase orders to suppliers. - Manage purchase orders to ensure date accuracy i...
