Job Description: The Role: Senior Underwriter is responsible for underwriting all new and existing portfolio of business within set underwriting guidelines, authority levels and service standards. Senior Underwriter will also be responsible for mentoring and developing Underwriters and reporting to senior management. Senior Underwriter is responsible for maintaining a professional approach in all internal and external stakeholder interactions, managing effective, efficient, compliant and profitable underwriting for Arch Insurance under dedicated portfolio/ product. This is a permanent opportunity, reporting to Underwriting Manager, Executive Assurance. The role is based in Melbourne.
