Position Title: Assistant Travel Team Lead Division: Potawatomi Training: Location: Anniston, AL: Compensation Plan: SCA: Employment Class: Full Time- Regular: Position Summary: The Assistant Travel Team Lead assists the Travel Team Lead with supervising the travel authorization and voucher process for all responder students attending training at the Noble Training Facility (NTF) and the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - In the Travel Team Leads absence, oversees daily operations of the Travel Section, to include direct supervision of travel staff - Assists Travel Team Lead with reviewing travel authorizations, and vouchers for accuracy, and ensuring all information is complete and in accordance with regulations - Assists Travel Team Lead by reviewing all travel itineraries for accuracy prior to transferring electronically or mailing if needed - Act as a liaison between students and National Travel for travel requirements - Assists Travel Team Lead by maintaining daily contact with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) travel office and accounting department - Provides on-call services, after hours, on a rotation basis - Conducts QA...
