Job description

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Six years of progressively responsible experience in train control maintenance, with at least four years at the supervisory level. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of signaling principles and practices of the American Association of Railroads and Federal Transit Administration. Must possess a thorough knowledge of current labor agreement and work rules. In lieu of a degree, directly related ATC supervisory experience as described may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities in job-related areas. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interview and/or competency assessments.
