Job Title: Certified Central Sterile Instrument Technician (Full-Time) Under the supervision of OR Coordinator, ensures proper care and maintenance for all surgical instrumentation, decontamination processes, equipment usage and sterilization processes. Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices of aseptic technique. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, instruments, procedures and supplies used in the operating room. Adheres to strict use of standard precautions and the use of personal protective equipment. Works rotating shifts, weekend shifts and call are assigned on a rotating basis. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance.
