Job Summary Arrow ARC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, rapid-response care to patients with acute and emergent conditions at the Atlanta VA Health System. The ED RN will function both independently and under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or designee, ensuring timely triage, stabilization, and treatment in a fast-paced environment while delivering a holistic approach to patient care. Shift: Night Shift , 1930-800 (12hr shift/3-days per week) Primary Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities: - Assess and manage patients with a wide range of physical and psychological conditions. - Provide emergency care, including medication administration (oral, subcutaneous, IM, IV), blood product administration, and bedside testing. - Perform phlebotomy, peripheral line insertion/maintenance, and central line care. - Assist in operative/invasive procedures and care for patients in isolation or requiring special precautions. - Insert and troubleshoot urinary catheters. - Collaborate with physicians, residents, and ancillary staff in patient care. - Initiate patient education and discharge instructions as prescribed. - Maintain c...
