Asbestos Sampling Technician

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for an Asbestos Sampling Technician for our Novi, MI office. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: - Asbestos abatement air monitoring - Air monitoring of other constituents including silica, lead, and particulate material. - Onsite analysis of asbestos PCM air samples - Conduct asbestos-containing materials surveys - Other building materials sampling requirement may include paints, PCB bulk products and concrete. - Adherence to health and safety plans, work plans, and other project guidance documents - Monitor project phasing plans and contractors' work to ensure quality control and contract - ompliance; documenting work progress and issues arising throughout scope of project. - Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work. - Attend pre-construction meetings and answer questions from contractors and other attendees. - Assist with calculating payments due to contractors for work completed. - Work collaboratively with other professionals, scientists, engineers, inspectors, projec...
