This role has direct responsibility for delivering sales objectives and managing an assigned portfolio within the Sports, Entertainment & Media team across specified accounts and sub-segments, driving revenue and growth opportunities for IHG Hotels & Resorts. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, leverage data to inform strategy, and demonstrate a strong drive to win in a highly competitive market. Your day to day: - Strategic Planning : Assess accounts and their opportunities, building strategic account plans. Collaborate with global counterparts, agencies, hotels, and contacts to execute strategies and tactics that drive revenue and market share. - Performance Analysis : Monitor account performance metrics and use data to identify trends and opportunities, utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and refine sales strategies - Networking : Network within industry and accounts to identify key decision-makers and influencers, building relationships to fully penetrate account potential. - Understanding Client Needs : Seek to understand the account's business and priorities, developing strategies that align with their objectives and maximizing o...
