Description Overview: The Department of Chemistry at Ursinus College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor . The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of faculty and staff in an ACS-certified department and will participate in the biochemistry and molecular biology program . The chemistry department is housed in Pfahler Hall and offers dedicated student research laboratories and instruments suitable for undergraduate research. Responsibilities: We seek a chemist who is committed to excellence in undergraduate education at a highly selective liberal arts college. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching four courses per semester , with primary responsibilities including lecture and laboratory courses in general and/or organic chemistry . Opportunities exist for interested candidates to engage undergraduate students in research .
