Job Title: MFLC Ready Reserve (CYB/School) **Must be local to or live in commutable distance of one of the below installations** - Fort Hood, TX - Goodfellow AFB, TX - Sheppard AFB, TX - Laughlin AFB, TX Summary: MFLC Counselors provide assessment, short-term, solution focused counseling services and non-traditional walk around participant outreach to eligible individuals, military children and youth of all ages. This includes collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators to strengthen and increase the child’s/youth’s capacity for healthy development. MFLC services shall enhance participants’ ability to cope with the many challenges associated with the complex dynamics unique to the military service environment. The MFLC Ready Reserve (MRR) works on an On-Call basis providing MFLC Counseling services on temporary assignments at select military installations in Texas. If a full time MFLC role is desired, MRR will be considered for open positions when available.
