Responsibilities: The Medical Records Tech is responsible for the day-to-day operations of records support throughout the records warehouse. This may include compiling incoming records, verifying accuracy, sorting/coding according to file system, storing records in paper form, and input of information into computerized storage system. The Medical Records Tech will also assist in prepping and scanning; removing of staples, chart dividers, post it notes, taping down loose documents and counting of pages to be appropriately batched.
