Security Service Technician

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Security Systems Technician with experience in fire alarm systems, access control and Video Surveillance (CCTV). The technician will be responsible for installation, service, troubleshooting and maintenance of low-voltage security and fire life safety systems across commercial sites. Qualifications: - Install, program, test, service and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, ensuring NFPA compliance & local codes and regulations. - Install and maintain access control systems (card readers, mag locks, electric strikes, controllers) - Install, configure & repair CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems (IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms). - Perform system inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance. - Troubleshoot & repair system issues efficiently in the field. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics & wiring diagrams in the field. - Ensure all work meets safety standards, codes and company quality expectations. - Provide clear communication with customers, coworkers and managers. - Able to complete service reports, documentations and closeout paperwork in a timely manner. - 2+ years of experience in fire alarm, access control and/or security systems...
