Job description

Duties/Responsibilities: - Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications - Assemble, fit and install structural and mechanical components to precise tolerances - perform layout, cutting, and fabrication of materials as required - Conduct inspections to ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality - Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively - Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule - Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations Education and Experience: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. - Minimum o f5 years of relevant experience as a fitter or in a similar role - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices - Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
