Title: Police Telecommunicator Division Name: Student Affairs Department: University Police Department Job Summary: The function of the Police Telecommunicator (TC) is to receive, process, clarify, interpret, prioritize, and accurately disseminate information for the purpose of ensuring officer safety, saving the lives of endangered persons, reducing property losses, reducing the effects of injury, assist apprehending criminals, and rendering timely assistance to the general public. The TC provides the vital communication link between the citizens who need help and the various emergency services that can provide the necessary assistance.
